This annual religious festival takes place in India for five days - in October or November. During Diwali people play card games and dress up in special clothes.
People give boxes of colourful coconut sweets called barfi to relatives and friends.
People light decorated candles and clay lamps called diyas. People put them in their windows and even on their roofs.
You can see beautiful fireworks too!
