"Research information  about a festival. Write a report about it, including: name, duration, place where it is celebrated, date, what does it celebrate, type of festival, activities in the festival".

DIWALI

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, at Diwali people remember that light triumphs over dark and good triumphs over evil. 

This annual religious festival takes place in India for five days - in October or November. 
During Diwali people play card games and dress up in special clothes. 
People give boxes of colourful coconut sweets called barfi to relatives and friends. 
People light decorated candles and clay lamps called diyas. People put them in their windows and even on their roofs. 
You can see beautiful fireworks too!

Diwali es el festival hindú de luces, en Diwali la gente recuerda que la luz triunfa sobre la oscuridad y el bien triunfa sobre el mal. 
Este festival religioso anual tiene lugar en la India durante cinco días, en octubre o noviembre. Durante Diwali, las personas juegan juegos de cartas y se visten con ropas especiales. 
La gente regala cajas de coloridos dulces de coco llamados barfi a parientes y amigos. 
La gente adorna velas y lámparas de arcilla llamadas diyas. 
La gente los pone en sus ventanas e incluso en sus techos. 
¡Puedes ver bellos fuegos artificiales también!)
